I picked this up hoping it would really solve the problem for me. At first, I was actually encouraged because I did notice a bit of improvement, and it felt like it was moving things in the right direction. But after using it for a while, it just didn’t quite do enough to fully meet what I needed. So overall, I’d say it was useful, but not a complete fix

I reached out to Samaritans at a point where I really needed to talk to someone, but I didn’t want anyone around me to know what was going on. It felt private, and I never felt like I was being pushed to explain more than I was ready to.

The person who replied was really calm and didn’t judge me at all, which made it easier to trust them quickly. Weirdly, I remember staring at a tiny chip in my mug the whole time while I was messaging them, and somehow having someone just listen on the other end made that moment feel less awful.

The only reason I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I did have to wait a little while, but i understand they’re busy. I’m still really grateful the service is there when you need it.

For me, the biggest thing is that they don’t jump in trying to solve everything or make it about advice. They just listen, let me talk at my own pace, and don’t make me feel rushed or awkward. Every time I’ve reached out, it’s felt calm, kind, and steady, which is exactly what I needed in those moments. I’m really glad they’re there

I was in a tough spot and really needed to reach someone, even late in the day. They answered by phone and email without making me feel like a bother. it’s just a decent way to treat people when they need help, and I really appreciated it
